The Mt. Buller Ski & Snowboard School is currently looking for full-time instructors interested in working the winter season (20.06.09 - 20.09.09) in the southern hemisphere. We are an international company with instructors from different countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, America, Canada, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Great Britain. The Mt. Buller Ski & Snowboard School operates seven days a week, and offers instructors the opportunity to work up to seven hours a day teaching group and private lessons, school groups and a variety of special programs. Interested instructors may also have the chance to assist in the Race and Events Department, which is responsible for race training and the complete organisation of events of all sizes in all disciplines. Instructors are paid by the hour according to an incentive pay structure, whereby they also earn points for each student and hour taught, followed by a pay rise once a certain amount of points has been reached. Detailed information concerning the hourly rate of pay, the airfare allowance and costs of staff accommodation will be made available once we have received your application.

Applicants should have good English skills, preferably be fully certified (although a limited number of positions are also available for instructors with lower-level qualifications), and be available for work between the end of June and the end of September.

Ski Dubai zoekt personeel. Ski Dubai is geopend op 1 november 2005, ligt in de stad Dubai in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Deze stad is de meest liberale omgeving in het midden oosten, er is veel entertainment, bars en hotels. Er komen hier enorm veel toersisten vanuit de letterlijk de gehele wereld. En je vrije dag is hier net vakantie, er is waanzinngig veel te doen, duiken, surfen, wakeboarden, jetskien, 4X4-en in de woestijn, feesten, concerten en nog veel meer.

Ski Dubai is 22:000 m2 groot,de piste is 400 meter lang, we hebben een 4 persoons stoeltjeslift,een sleeplift,
een 5 sterrenhotel met 500 kamers en is gelegen aan de Mall of the Emirates, de grootste shopping mall
ter wereld buiten de VS.

De piste is opgedeelt in 5 zones, Freestyle zone ( incl 90 mtr 1/4 Pipe)Groene piste,
Blauwe piste rode piste en de eerste zwarte indoor piste ter wereld. De leraren van de
SnowSchool komen uit de gehele wereld, van Groot Brittanie tot de oostblok landen.
De werkomgeving is erg multi cultureel en bezoekers komen van over gehele wereld en dat maakt het werk erg leuk
en uitdagend, goed engels is noodzakelijk, elke andere taal is zeker een Pre.

SKI INSTRUCTOR/PATROL REF: 006
· This is a multi functional role and all candidates will need to be ski
instructors as well as work on the slopes as Ski Patrol.
· Implement the Ski Dubai teaching methods and practices.
· Ensure up-to-date techniques are used.
· Conduct private and group ski lessons in the classroom and on the slopes.
· Ensures security and proper signage on the ski slopes.
· Assist in First Aid.
· Conducts any evacuations of injured skiers to the First Aid centre.
· Informs and orients the skiers with regards to the slopes situation.
· Assist in the maintenance of the slopes.
· Assists any skiers when and if required.
Person Specification
· Advanced Skier
· Previous experience in a ski school
· Team Player
· Good organization and planning skills
· First Aid certified.
· Effective communication skills.
· Good teaching methods
· Strong character
· Customer service orientated
· Flexibility in terms of working hours
· Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is desirable
Salary Package
· A cash package of USD 602 - 850/month

SKI LIFT OPERATORS/SNOW PLAY SUPERVISOR REF: 007
· Operating the ski lift
· Assisting guests on to and off the ski lift
· Controls the ski lift in accordance with the health and safety regulations.
· Ensures the proper maintenance and regular checks of the ski lift.
· Ensure the cleanliness of the ski lift.
· Assist and supervise guests in the snow play area.
· Provide an exciting experience for children visiting the play area to bring
the area alive for them.
· Ensure the daily maintenance and safety in the snow play area.
Person Specification
· Minimum High school diploma required
· Good communication skills.
· Team Player
· First Aid awareness.
· Health & Safety awareness.

· Lively, fun, out-going personality, likes children
